For starters I can’t thank you all enough for your kindness, prayers, and words of encouragement. Please, please know that it truly does make a difference!! Just when I start to slip I am lifted right back up from a text, a comment, or a sweet word. So thank you!!! (I really should take the time to thank everyone individually but for now please know how appreciated you are).I have spent days researching as many possible alternative treatments to cancer as I can find. I am looking into different clinics in Texas, Germany, Mexico, Arizona, and Switzerland. We have our first meeting with our oncologist tomorrow and I am open-minded to the suggestions he will give us. There are also small changes that I made immediately for Dan. The day we got home from the hospital I changed his deodorant, toothpaste and shampoo (things I had already changed for myself). I also changed our dish soap and his water (alkaline for now). Our laundry detergent and dryer sheets (which I rarely use and prefer just dryer balls) were already chemical-free. I know that these are not big changes, but they are something I can at least control right now (because I am a control freak). These won’t have an immediate impact but at least they won’t be adding to the toxic load that his body is trying to fight off right now. I am NOT an expert on these items so I don’t know the in’s and out’s of what brands are better than others – I just know they are a little better than what he was previously using.
